Throwback Brewery

A small brewery with locally sourced farm-fresh ingredients and food.

Small Brewery with Big Plans

Throwback Brewery was founded in 2010 by Annette Lee and Nicole Carrier as a way to combine two passions: brewing great beer and supporting local agriculture. Their initial location was well-received but after a couple of years, the pair knew the key to growing their operation would require capital investment.

Lee and Carrier needed to work out financing in order to build a new brewery. While the company was on track for growth and had a strong track record there was still a collateral shortfall and they fell outside the parameter for traditional lending options. Their lender, Enterprise Bank, recognized Throwback’s vision and tremendous potential and enrolled the brewery into the BFA’s Capital Assistance Loan Program.

Through CAP, Throwback was able to acquire, renovate, and repurpose an old farmhouse as its new location and add new equipment, create new brews, and provide an atmosphere with an enticing environment that people just want to experience.

Today Throwback offers a variety of different locally sourced beers and food and with a great vibe and has become a community hub offering terrific experiences
